The WNDW team is proud to announce the release of the second Arabic translation of Wireless Networking in the Developing World. This is the latest contribution to the growing collection of WNDW translations, which also include English, Spanish, French, and Italian.

In the developing world, one book can often be equivalent to a library. Access to books is difficult where there are few libraries or book stores, and there is often little money to pay for them. By releasing this book for free under a Creative Commons license, anyone is free to download, print, update, or redistribute it. We hope to reach the widest possible audience, spreading the knowledge of low-cost wireless networking to those who need it most.

The book, "Wireless Networking in the Developing World" is just one part of the WNDW project. In addition to the various translations, you will also find community forums and additional material on our newly redesigned website, http://wndw.net/.

The goal of the project is to help jumpstart wireless communications infrastructure projects all over the world by providing information and resources to the wireless community. Join us to help bridge the digital divide and bring wireless network access to everyone.

الشبكات اللاسلكية في الدول النامية - الإصدار الثاني

يفخر فريق الشبكات اللاسلكية في الدول النامية بالإعلان عن إطلاق النسخة العربية من الإصدار الثاني لكتاب الشبكات اللاسلكية في الدول النامية، والتي تشكل أحدث الإسهامات إلى عائلة النسخ المترجمة من الكتاب والتي تضم اللغات الإنكليزية والإسبانية والفرنسية والإيطالية.

قد يحل كتاب واحد عند الحاجة أحياناً محل مكتبة بأكملها، لا سيما في الدول النامية. يصعب الحصول على الكتب في المناطق التي لا تتوفر فيها المكتبات ودور النشر عدا عن عدم توفر المال اللازم لشراء هذه الكتب. نأمل عبر توفير هذا الكتاب مجاناً ضمن إتفاقية ترخيص المشاع الإبداعي Creative Commons والتي تتيح لأي شخص كان تحميل وطباعة وتعديل وإعادة توزيع هذا الكتاب بحرية تامة أن نتمكن من الوصول إلى أعرض شريحة ممكنة من القراء بغية نشر المعرفة في مجال الشبكات اللاسلكية منخفضة التكاليف.

يشكل هذا الكتاب لبنة واحدة فقط من مشروع الشبكات اللاسلكية في الدول النامية والذي يضم إلى جانب نسخ هذا الكتاب باللغات المختلفة منتديات للحوار ومواد إضافية ضمن موقعنا الجديد: http://wndw.net

يهدف هذا المشروع إلى دعم مشاريع بناء البنى التحتية للإتصالات اللاسلكية في جميع أنحاء العالم عبر تزويد مجتمع محترفي وهواة الشبكات اللاسلكية بالمعلومات والموارد الملائمة. شارك معنا للإسهام في ردم الهوة الرقمية وإيصال الشبكات اللاسلكية إلى جميع بني البشر.
